AIPT was founded in 1992 as American Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology (AIPT). Licensed by New Jersey State Department of Education and NY/NJ/PA Dept.of Labor and Workforce Development.

The Institute was established in response to the education and training requirements for pharmaceutical/Health care industry professionals and the need for skills certification of laboratory technicians and Research Scientist in the field.
